A Grateful County Remembers Don Whitefield (1921-2008)
On Friday, July 25, the HCRP lost a dear friend when Don Whitefield passed away. We all got to know Don through his wife, Billie, who has been a Republican Pct. Chair for several decades, worked in countless campaigns and has held almost every grassroots leadership position imaginable. Their son, Bill, has taken up the mantle; also serving as a long-time Pct. Chair and in other key grassroots positions. Don was a great American who always supported his family and their political involvement. In fact, just this past Monday, when Billie was going to miss a special Pct. Chair meeting to stay by Don’s side, he urged her to go saying, "You need to be there." That is the same dedication he consistently showed his family, his business and his country. Don was a committed father, grandfather, businessman, musician and patriot…he was also our friend.
Don Whitefield will be missed.

Please remember to pray for Billie, Bill and the entire Whitefield family.:
