The Democrats keep playing games
with your health care.
This week, Harry
Reid, Nancy Pelosi
and President Obama
are launching their
end game to take
over your health
care.
The Democrats just
keep breaking
promise after
promise.
After promising an
open process, they
crafted their bills
behind
closed doors.
After promising a
change from dirty
politics, they gave
us backroom
deals like
the
Louisiana Purchase
and the
Cornhusker Kickback.
And after promising
to post bills online
72 hours before
votes, they pulled
the worst scam yet,
posting last fall's
2,309-page health
care bill this
weekend knowing full
well that that's not
the bill that
Congress will
ultimately vote on.
It's just a shell
bill, full of the
same hidden tax
increases and big
government policies
that have angered
the American people
for months.
There may not even
be a vote at all: If
the Democrats follow
the
Slaughter Strategy,
the House would pass
the Senate version
of ObamaCare without
actually voting up
or down on it at
all.
President Obama
would sign a bill
into law that would
not have followed
the process that the
framers laid down in
the Constitution.
If ObamaCare passes,
your taxes will go
up immediately,
while you won't see
any of its alleged
benefits for
years. That scam
allowed the
Democrats to claim
that their bill
costs under $1
trillion. The fact
is, ObamaCare is
only the beginning,
and will cost far
more than the
Democrats are
willing to admit.
The time for
games is over: Our
health care is
simply too
important.
