As you probably know, we had a
record turnout for a
non-Presidential Election year
primary election; nearly
160,000
Harris County Republicans turned out
to help select our Republican
nominees to face off with the
Democrats in November. There was an
amazing amount of enthusiasm for
this election and for our Republican
Party generally, which gives us a
great starting point for our
November campaign.
I want to thank everyone who helped
make the 2010 Republican Primary
such a huge success. This includes
the Primary Director
Donna Bahorich,
Sharon Hicks,
who also once again did an amazing
job as Election Judge Coordinator,
Mandy Day
and the entire Primary staff; all of
our Election
Judges,
Alternate Election Judges and
Election
Clerks and, of course,
all of you
who participated in the democratic
process by voting.
I look forward to working with all
of you as we march forward towards
the Senate District Conventions on
March 20th, our next big event with
former Presidential advisor,
Karl Rove
on April 1st and the
Runoff
Elections on April 13th.
After the runoff elections, we can
once again focus on the
Harris County
Victory 2010 Campaign, which
will be chaired by former Tax
Assessor Paul
Bettencourt and former HCRP
Chairman Gary
Polland.
Once again, thanks for your
involvement in our local GOP and I
look forward to working with you as
we prepare for
victory in November.
